TORTOLO WITH CANDIED FRUIT

Among Mamma Vincenza's cakes, there had to be a traditional one!
A classic one, made with long rising times. Throughout Italy, there are many traditional cakes, there are even similar ones, almost all of them "loaf"-shaped.
Our grandmothers used to put a whole egg (with the shell) in the dough, which was cooked with the cake and made children happy!
